Crispy Oats Paneer

INGREDIENTS

500 grams Paneer (cottage cheese)

Oil 3 tablespoons

1 cup oats

For marinade

1 teaspoon Ginger paste

1 teaspoon Garlic paste

1 tablespoon Corriander leaves paste

1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder

2-3 tablespoons  Fresh cream

1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Salt to taste

METHOD

Cut paneer into one and a half inch squares with half inch thickness.

Mix together all the ingredients of the marinade and marinade the paneer cubes in it for about 15-20 minutes.

Heat oil on a tawa, place the paneer cubes and fry it for 2-3 minutes ( This is just to remove the raw smell of Masalas)

Allow it cool for 3-4 minutes.

Now, coat the paneer in oats and press lightly ( Exactly how you coat the cutlets in breadcrumbs)

Shallow fry till both the sides are evenly golden and serve hot with green chutney.
